One of the key factors in a fair food system is being kind to our environment and one of the easiest ways to do that is to eliminate single-use packaging when we're eating. Our re-use service allows the university community to hire out cups, plates, glasses, cutlery as well as bins and more to run waste-free events. We run wash against waste stations at the University of Melbourne Farmers' Markets and other university events. Since August 2017 we have diverted over 25, 000 single-use items from landfill by offering reusable alternatives. Our Fair Food UniCycle - a portable bike kitchen with a gas cooktop and cooler is also available for hire.

Please use the following options to book items through our re-use service.  We are a non-for profit student-run service, all costs go towards covering the services we provide and into education and advocacy programs for fair food on university campuses. We operate on a tiered pricing model and offer a 25% discount to students which will be applied to your invoice.

If you'd like the Fair Food Challenge team to come to an event, run an event or do a pop-up with The UniCycle please email us info@fairfoodchallenge.com to discuss.
